TRACK RECORD

In 1998 Talvision, a division of Taltronics was established and from January 2010, Talvision was restructured when EEU joined to concentrate solely on the Control Room and innovative visual engineering environments.

In the past 14 years the most notable achievements in regards to turnkey REAR PROJECTION projects, and driving the control rooms of major corporations including Telkom, Eskom, Vodacom and MTN in the South African market.

Our first project in South Africa was the installation of a 5 x 6 (30 modules) 50” system for Vodacom SA in Bellville Cape Town.

Taltronics was also involved in the installation of the Telkom SA National Operation Centre in Centurion Pretoria.  A total of 284 rear projection modules were used to create their very impressive video wall as parallel information to their operators.

Taltronics installed a 6 x 5 (30) 50” system for the National Control Centre (NCC) Eskom in Simmerpan Germiston. It was later upgraded to a 7 x 5 (35 modules) configuration.

One of our biggest installations in South Africa is the MTN system. The system was moved from Alice Lane in Santon to MTN’s new innovation centre in 2003. It was initially built as a 6 x 2 configuration.  We’ve upgraded the system to a 14 x 3 configuration. Later the system was increased to a total of 14 x 4 (56 modules) system.
